The vCenter client (formerly the VMware Infrastructure client) is used to manage individual ESX hosts as well as to provide an administration interface to the vCenter server. It is included with the vCenter Server download.

Yes. Perpetual Windows Enterprise desktop licenses with active Software Assurance (SA) purchased before 10/1/2019 (or as a true-up under an agreement effective before 10/1/2019) can be deployed on AWS dedicated infrastructure until SA renewal. Upon SA renewal, Microsoft license terms require a transition to VDA E3/E5 user licenses for the deployment of Windows desktop client on dedicated AWS infrastructure.
In vSphere 6.5, VMware also introduced an HTML5-based web client (now known simply as the vSphere Client) that can be accessed by browsing to -or-IP-Address-of-vCenter/ui. Initially, this client was a work in progress and lacked many features found in the vSphere Web Client. However, since vSphere 6.7 Update 1 it has been feature complete and is now the recommended client for managing your vSphere infrastructure.

The download process involves locating VMware Server 2.0 from the products page and submitting a moderately detailed form. Once the configuration is complete and the VMware Server infrastructure is up and running on the host system the next task is to access the VMware Infrastructure Web Access interface.
